Narcan saves another life in Little Egg Harbor

LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Another life has been saved with the heroin overdose antidote Narcan.

Township police found a 29-year-old man unconscious in the shower about 7:24 p.m. Saturday.

Officers John Kelly, Dan Ivancich and Chris Graham administered first aid with the assistance of Stafford Township EMS and used Narcan, also known by its generic name naloxone, to revive the victim, according to police Cpl. Christopher Arciniegas, spokesman for the Little Egg department.
